A Monday Smile
After a horrible week of news from Boston and Texas how about a smile? This story is awesome! Ted Kremer, the Reds batboy who happens to have Down Syndrome, said two things to his favorite player Todd Frazier before he stepped up to the p...late: "C’mon, hit me a home run, I love you". Guess what happened? It's like out of a Disney movie. Very cool.

The horrific incident in Boston has shaken the nation and led to many uncomfortable conversations between parents and children.

Jack is only 4-years-old but I know it's only a matter of time before he starts to ask Devon and I about events in the news.

Jeff Capper - Co-host For The Day
Thanks to Jeff Capper and all of you that took part in the KXIC Bracket Challenge! Jeff was the champion of the tournament and this morning he co-hosted the morning show with me. He did a great job and he said he had a blast. Jeff and his wife Monica also won tickets to see Cabaret at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts and he won an 8-pack of tickets to see the Cedar Rapids Titans from our KXIC Suite.
